shadogaire is lv 85 when you challenge him.
Shadogaire will be the hardest wild Pokemon battle in the game (arguably hardest battle in any game ever).
Not only is he powerful, but he isn't alone; two lv 80 fellolclads will be fighting with him, making this the only ever wild triple battle (however, you can aim pokeballs in this battle and you don't have to knock two out to capture one)
you HAVE to re-battle them (after losing) until captured in order to progress in the story (although, there isn't much left to do after capturing Shadogaire)
Any time you re-battle Shadogaire (for whatever reason), there will ALWAYS be two fellolclads, even if you captured one or both of them in a previous battle.
Luckily, you won't be alone in the triple battle; Eowenah will actually fight outside your team (she claims in the game she slipped out to help you), and the leader of the protagonist team (there are two teams in the games; one is bad and tries to aid Shadogaire, the other is good and tries to stop the bad team) fights with you as well.
same effects apply as Eowenah's battle, only with a different moveset (same PP amount though) and you can't flee.
moves are: (normal) dark mist (sdw, cls: status, pwr: -- acc: 100 rng: Enemy 2 PP: 20, Lowers opponent's evasiveness by one level) metal sound, shadow panic (sdw, cls: status, pwr: -- acc: 90 rng: enemy 3 PP: 20, Confuses opponents) and torment. (omega) shadow blast (sdw, cls: special, pwr: 80, acc: 100 PP: 15, high critical hit rate) hatred burst (sdw, cls: special, pwr: 95 acc: 100 rng: enemy 2/ally 1 PP: 15, doesn't effect shadow types on field) darkness lost (sdw, cls special, pwr: 100 acc: 100 rng enemy 3 PP: 10, May lower opponent's accuracy) and apocalypse (shadow version of sanity break)

also, if you notice he is darker than her and the blades aren't as shiny. they're just as sharp as hers, but they made of a physical substance rather than energy.

Shadogaire is patient and diabolical, Eowenah instinctive and aggressive. (in her enraged form only though, she's very docile and passive in her other forms.

also, the dex says he is genderless, but he IS ACTUALLY male. he just isn't fooled by infatuation or gender based moves like captivate.
