Oh no, it's so grainy! This is why scanned pictures can't do justice to the original. I've been working on this for quite a while now. Comments and critiques are all welcome

I agree the scanning did not do this justice. It looks light and grainy to me. It doesn't however, detract from the wonder of the piece. Your attention to detail is superb, and your shading is awesome. I love the concept, and the ferocity of the face on the dragon. I adore this piece!

Truly impressive. It's one thing to draw a portrait from a reference. It's something else entirely to make a completely fictional picture look real. The dragon is a sight to see.

the melee guy looks really pissed off. the dragon took way too long to finally come down and now it is his turn to fight. the archer needs to leave his spot to avoid from being too close while the mage is trying to distract the dragon. did i saw someone praying for their safe hunting? that is what i think after seeing this pic
