Yesterday I set up a paint booth in my Godzilla Room and began to paint and the smaller bust here:
The Gamera is pretty small and it was a challenge to use an airbrush for any details. Also it is hard to do those teeth without painting the other parts of the mouth. I will probably set up and try to paint Godzilla 64 again and use some rags to protect some areas, they spray Future Floor Wax to add gloss. I expect I will have to set up the airbrush 4 more times before I add some traditional washes and dry brushing to it. Not sure how I will do the pupil and iris but I may just hand paint it or use markers. I will make them smaller than this example so he looks a bit more menacing.
I am nearly done with Gamera, I have some touching up and then I will post some pics. It is not quite a super deform after all, sort of half way between maybe. Or even less. Just a bit cuter than should be to the movie.
Also working on my portrait for now I am working on the hair, should be done before end of the week. I been a busy boy! Also got to pack models for G-Fest and I got a neighbor coming over today to maybe buy some of my unwanted comic books.
