I guess this is proof I am compulsive or something..I took 4 views of this and I feel like I just hafta post it before I can go on.. Dont worry, I wont do any more pics of it until maybe when I am done with the diorama I am building for it. I cut a base out of pieces of 2" insulation foam and I coated it with durhams water putty. I bought some n scale people and a building that will go on the top level with Baragon, Godzilla will be on the bottom level in the gravel pit, nose to nose with Baragon. It will be kinda like the one I gave away but with different models and a bit different layout. Anyway, getting boring I know.Related content

I usually mix my own colors and paint in layers. On this one, I base coated with an airbrush using purples in the recesses and tans in the highlights, and rust colors all around. I also try to use transparent colors. These are all acrylic at first.
Then I do washes and drybrushing using transparent acrylics. I like to finish off with oils because they blend really well and they make great transparent washes that dont dry too fast. But I dont use like, "payne's Gray" for this and so forth.
