Description
One of the rare times I will buy X-Plus figures is if they look good to me and they are not available as model kits. So I got these SD 4th and 2ns form Shin Godzilla figures. I might get the 3rd form too. I have model kits I have not built yet of the 2nd and 3rd forms that are not SD. I got them all from Kaiju Japan! Granted, the 2nd is SD as it is in the film. What's wrong with the normal X-Plus figure? Or just an SD fan period?

I generally don't collect X-Plus figures because they are inferior knockoffs of model kits and I don't like that they do that unless it is a sculpt made especially and exclusively for an X-Plus release, like I believe these were. And the 2nd form non SD shin by X-Plus looks to be as well, but it is very big and I don't have room for it. I prefer to build and paint my own models generally. The MM28 models of Baragon 2002 for instance, which came out recently as an X-Plus vinyl along with Mothra, are an example of what I oppose about X-Plus. I have the real resin kit, they basically recast it and it shrinks a bit in vinyl and they have someone paint it. To me it is too much like what recasters in Hong Kong and Thailand do on ebay and it is ruining the hobby in my opinion...

I love the multiple forms of the 2016 incarnation of Godzilla (or even in general: the concept of Evolutions, Metamorphosis, Evolutions etc.), so this just made my day, they're so cute.

France is a country where the kaiju eiga are very rare, Shin Godzilla is not released in my country. it's sad.
