Description
In Kauai, Hawaii, I hiked on a trail that led to the world's highest swamp. They built a boardwalk to help make it able to be crossed in the boggy, wetter areas. Often there were skinks on the boardwalk, sunning themselves. They would skitter away as you approached, but I got quite a few photos because I am good at sneaking up on things XDRelated content

Looks like a metallic skink/ metallic cool-skink (Niveoscincus metallicus). At first I thought it was a common ground skink, but it doesn't seem like those are in Hawaii.
