This took way too long to finish. Originally this was a tiny image among a group of doodles. I decided I wanted to do more with it. The coloring took FOREVER. Both the carpet and the curtains in the background are really what took so long. I drew the carpet pattern entirely by hand and the curtain just took forever because I put so much detail into it. I do like the sparkles that I added in around the scarf and on the gold. I could probably have spent another couple of hours working on more of the details, but this has already taken up about a week of my time and I really want to move on.

I've been doing a ton of doodles in my sketchbook. I literally have an entire sketchbook full of drawings that I haven't posted or scanned in yet. I think my scanner might be broken, but I'll give it another go just to make sure. (Rita! Don't die on me! *clutches scanner desperately*) Hopefully it is okay. My editing program has been acting really finicky lately and I'm a little worried about it. I suppose that's what I get for owning Windows, but I can't help it... I'm so much more familiar with it.

I also had some fun stuff happen to me lately. One of my wisdom teeth has started hurting pretty bad recently and now I get to go to the dentist next week (which is not something I really want to do... The last time something was wrong with my teeth I got braces for five years.) I also I got this massive bug bite within the last 24 hours. I have no idea how I got it but it's huge and swollen. Being the optimist that I am, I shrug and say to people who ask "This is the reason I don't go outside." I'm the type of person who doesn't use band-aids. If I accidently cut myself while shaving I just let it bleed and clean up the mess and continue on with my life. It sounds dangerous, but honestly I have never gotten an infection. I have an immune system of steel apparently.

Another reminder: I am working on a webcomic and will start posting it online once I get 500 watchers!
