yea, I was messing around with it last night, but I totally messed it up, lol.
but hey, go to usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps
theres a SVG of the GIMP icon

Go to start and click run (alternatively just hold down the Windows Key and press R).
And type:
%PROGRAMFILES%
to get to the program files folder. There are other ways to do this.
Find the OpenOffice folder: "OpenOffice.org 2.3"
and go to this folder:
OpenOffice.org 2.3 >> program
then just paste it there. Make sure it's a BMP file.

The default splash "intro.bmp" is located here in Ubuntu 7.04.
/usr/lib/openoffice/program
You simply replace the intro.bmp

Well... the name was openintro_ubuntu.bmp
And I had to change to filetipe using the GIMP...
But it looks great.

the "download" link should have the bmp if I am not mistaken... And yes, they did change the name with 7.04, I forgot
The file name intro.bmp is for OpenOffice when it isn't packaged by a third party, ubuntu is the only place I have seen it changed so far.
