This isn't meant to represent all three Partitions of Poland, only the third one in 1795 and some other significant events in the Prussian and Austrian partitions following it.The coloured areas are the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1772 before the first partition. Yellow signifies the original third Russian, blue Prussian, and purple Austrian. The red lines show the borders of the third partition. The blue lines show the reorganization of the Austrian and Prussian partitions and the creation of Congress Poland in 1815. The darker colours show the loss by Austria and Prussia. The yellow line shows where Russia bit off the Bialystok region, and the green shows the Free City of Krakow. The silver line shows the Nazi division of East and West Galicia, the orange line separates Warmia from the rest of West Prussia, and the grey line shows the original Royal Prussia.
