I'm dogsitting this week. The problem is that I no longer have a dog to sit. Cookie, my cousin's family 14-year-old labrador, had a long, happy life. I hate that she passed on my watch, and that her family wasn't here with her, but it couldn't be helped. The tumor went from "small bump" to "huge mass" over the weekend. There was only one option to avoid needless suffering. She will be greatly missed.
