I was on a healthy little comment-threading with ~RMXmixednuts , where he said he'd gladily exchange roles with a girl in ballet. Than the idea just hit me so strong I couldn't let it go away without trying. This is the result. Pretty much.In case you just didn't recognize, this is me and Roy dancing a little bit. Just for fun.
I'm a bit drowned in other ideas, comissions and the perspective that Monday is The Day, so it doens, indeed, seems half-arsed. Still, I think even if it was only lineart, it would be just as good, so I took a bit more time to color, shadow and BG it.
And no, I really couldn't think of any good dialogue for the scene. I think it would spoil the mood...

Roy looks quite accomplished up on pointe. You must be quite proud of him (as I'm sure his mom is too).
His expression is priceless ... he looks like he's just started hearing the catcalls and jeering laughter from his old soccer teammates out in the audience.

I did forget to mention your character's expressions, which as others note is perfect. She is so enjoying "displaying" him and the Ballerina is so praying it is a private performance and there is no audience behind those lights! Vintage and cool.
