testing out how I should colour the rest of my MV. Not sure yet.. and this is not including background. Just seeing how much I can do without being driven insane lol*limiting quality/details with how much time I need to work on a pic

I am in love with the little bird
One day, when I came out of school I saw a bird like that get hit by a car. I was all dazed in the middle of the road, so I ran over and picked it up, and carried it to the sidewalk, near some bushes. The bird was not dead but very dazed and it sat in my hands for a while, both of us clueless. Then it fluttered up, sat on my shoulder for a while, and then it flew away. It left a little present on my jacket but that came off in the washing machine ^^

purples, reds, oranges and yellows is by far one of the most pleasing colour combos I think XD I love how you've summed them all up as well ;;...beautiful work :3

Beautiful, everything. I like the lines the most, the character's great. I like the expression and the hair [Wow, the hair]. The shading on the background is very good.
The only thing i'd like to highlight is the umbrella, personally, i don't get like a proper depth or shading on it[Sorry, cant explain very well]. Well, it looks good, but after looking at it a couple of time it might look a little flat.
Anyways, you know you're awesome. ^^ Good work as always.

I say... two tones of shading.
Anything more complicated and you might have to match all the visuals up so everything blends together. (_ _)

yeah, that's my big issue. should I go more.. solid, or more detailed. x_X hard to decide.. I want to try so many things but I have to keep it consistent in my vid. it's not going to be "animated" per-say, so I guess i dont' need it to be entirely solid. it's more like a reel of pictures forming a story, with slight animation like blinking of an eye or something haha, thnkx though!

first off i want to say that i love your work >w< and that you are a very inspiring artist to me, but something surprising i just recently noticed about your work is that.. the extensive "background details" (mostly coloring and shading) of your pictures often distract from the already beautiful facial expressions and personality of your characters. idk, this is my own opinion and might be a personal problem, but i find myself constantly trying to re-focus on your characters' faces to feel that i am fully appreciating your work x_x i notice this the most when looking from your sketches to the final pieces (i love that you do that btw :3) yeah, just thought i would say something... >.< X) but i really love your artwork!!! & thank you for drawing such beautiful pictures~

that's interesting, I've always tried to make backgrounds more detailed and stuff, cuz I'm trying to improve on all fields, I never thought I'd over-do it? xD
at my school, we have sooo many students good with backgrounds, and we are learning to draw backgrounds, so i've been trying to incorporate them with my pictures. i guess i still have a long ways to go before I can balance them out v_V
