The Grey Wings make heavy use of CAT units, and the chapter’s techmarines often go into the field with one in attendance.

The CAT model is from the Space Hulk board game, with the intent of using it as either an objective marker or, in this case, a teleport homer.

That is a Sergeant Chronus proxy made by , and hilariously, my Ferris and his Amarex were created completely independently of each other. I first saw his creation after Ferris was already assembled and in the process of being painted, and the similarities were astonishing. I get that vehicle crew torsos and pauldrons are pretty common for use in DIY techmarines, but the same helmet, the same servo-arm conversion, and an auspex? That’s just spooky.
