Description
Some might think the new Space Marine Repulsor Tank looks cool, but honestly, I don’t have that high an opinion of it. It’s bad enough that this overdesigned and overengineered mess looks like a ten year-old designed it, but then there’s the fact that this is apparently the only transport that those Primaris nancy boys can bring themselves to use, and is likely exclusive to them in turn. Yeah, I think I’ll pass on this one.Related content

Yes! Finally! Someone who shares my view. I get that they want to keep the distinct look and feel of Imperial - Space Marine, to be precise - tanks, but shouldn't they have followed the design of the Land Speeder, scaled up? Also, all that BS about repulsor-tech being "lost" to the Imperium; seriously? Again, Land Speeders. Second, how the fuck do Imperial aerospace craft fly if not with the help of repulsors and/or grav-suspensors? Because yes, brute force is one thing, but their flyers (other than the Vulture/Vendetta VTOLs) do not have one ounce of aerodynamics between them, and-! Gah.
No, I don't play Space Marines, but if I did I would be pretty disappointed.

That heretic Matt Ward. Making his favorite chapter more powerful just because he has the reigns.

I like to think Gulliman was making explosion noises with his mouth while drawing this.

It's a rhino on a hover dolly. That's it. I like the rear hatch, though.

Some of the new designs are stupid, bit iffy about 8th edition.

when looking at this "thing" i like the idea behind it, always liked the idea of flying metal bawkses... ahem... rhinos, but...
damn man... get rid of the stupid missiles on every silly flat space...do this by removing at least the turret for a standard predator turret (or variant thereof) and just leaving the other bits out.... that cleans the whole thing up nicely and makes it more plausible...
also... the turret minigun has to go... maybe old fashioned but storm bolters are the way to go imho...
hell compared to this overburdened design my flying rhino (wings and everything) looks like an expert design job XD ...
i might pick one up from ebay over time but only to convert it to something less silly.
ps, that rear door is also awkward...

My optimistic hope is that, when the rules for the Repulsor are finally revealed, stuff like the missile pods and rotor cannon will be options, alongside old classics like the storm bolter and HK missile, rather than just having everything crammed onto it as stock, and we saw it like this because the 'Eavy Metal guys were only given one tank to paint and they had to show off as many new features as they could in just the one.

Yeah that makes sense, but still, all that crammed on looks silly regardless...Well, thats one of the reasons i dont play the game, i dont like the rules and restrictions. I collect, build and modify.
Also i dont mind it or something having that many dakka... But only if it looks reasonable and not out of place or impossible to use store, Which is something that this tank seems to suffer from, impossible amount of ordnance crammed onto a certain area.... At least the orks make some sense build volume wisecompared to this XD.
