Description It's been a while. Here is my step by step process. huge file, I hope you guys like it.

as you can see, I still rely heavily on photoshop's color adjustments cause I really have very little experience mixing colors. this is my 5th traditional drawing so far so I'm still trying to learn stuff.

drawn on a Marvel paper so the textures aren't too hot but I do get nicer ink lines.

cheers.

OH SWEET BABIES! That's just nice. I hate just saying how awesome stuff is without saying anything constructive, but I can't think of anything to improve on...maybe just wolverine's abs? Yeah, that's it. They look better [IMO] on the watercolor stage. But man, this is just nice.

God, I love your work D: Your pencil skills kill me to the point of commiting suppuku twice.

Kidding, but GAD.

Hope to see more stuff like these

Though, I have to say, my most favourite bit is Doctor Strange's hands and whatever he's conjuring up.

Excellent work. Two questions:

what is Marvel paper, and where can I get it?

What tool did you use to ink it?

i don't even understand watercolors.....i just don't get it. But you make it seem like it's the easiest thing in the world. Are there any watercolor artists that inspired you to use this medium? (so i can steal their knowledge)

Great work! the colors in the final piece brought to mind Juan GimΓ©nez' work in "The Metabarons".

Great stuff, man, as usual. Traditional art takes a bit, but I think you're taking to it well. Keep it up, bro.

I like when people submit "work in progress" stuff. Specially if they're famous people like you. It shows you're "humans" if you know what I mean haha.

By the way, amazing coloring. You said it's your fifth traditional work right ? It's incredible how people in a certain level of skill learn things so fast.

Congratulations!

Can you keep drawing the New Avengers books forever?

...please?

I always love it when an artist I admire gives a step by step like this. It really inspires me to go out and draw again and give it my all.

Wow, I like this piece. I dig the step by step process, and I do agree with not skipping the tight pencil stage. I've been there before.

These traditionals are awesome. I love each one you do. Just out of curiosity. Was there any reason you opted to use the McFarlane eyes on Spidey Black's costume?
