Description
(Marionette Spider Part 4) After a couple forced feedings, Josephina lost track of time, the spider started to act strangely. Then one time instead of shoving its tongue down her throat again the spider started to poke and prod Josephina with its legs as if to illicit her to move around in the webbing. After being painfully shoved around for awhile the spider then turned around and backed up to her. Josephina was very confused as to what was going on, but relieved that it stopped hitting her. Then she saw a set of the spider's legs reach up and unattach the webs on her arms from the wall then they jerked her arms forward. The legs then gave the webs to the spider's palps. The palps then pulled her forward even more, and made her almost hug the spider from the back. Now her body was laying on top of the spider and she felt the coarse carapace as well as the spider's itchy and stiff hairs all over her body. Once she was "in-place" that same set of legs then wrapped around and grabbed her to firmly hold her in place. Josephina wanted nothing more than to leave this place, but this was certainly not how she wanted to leave it.Once the Marionette Spider believes there to be a female in the area it will then test its "prize prey" to make sure they are still reactive and will move around. Any spider can keep a dead unreactive corpse, but a strong spider keeps a strong prey in check. Once it is certain its "prize prey" is worth the trouble it will carry the prey on its back while it searches for the female. The spider will keep the prey stretched out, so that it is difficult for them struggle. The set of legs before its hind legs have also evolved over the years, and have become very dexterous. The legs have developed to be able to almost act as arms manipulating the prey on the spiders back. The male spider's abdomen has also lengthen and flatten over the years to provide a larger space to rest the prey.
