I am so happy that Oiran has been getting a decent rating at CGtalk. Since people have been asking what is overlay coloring, i decided to share Oiran workflow here.Hope it somehow helps.

Glad it helps.
This is one of the alternative way of coloring. If you try it out, then you can see the challenging part is to achieve the color accuracy. Reason being is that you are coloring on the overlay layer, the colors tend to run off from your initial intention which might frustrate you. It take some patient to get it right.
