I guess there are few cheap possibilities when working with moving targets... A friend of mine tried to take portraits some weeks ago using two 500-Watt-Halogenlamps and he told me he wasnΒ΄t satisfied with the light...

i have 2 500 wat tungsten
i kinda like them because i have one of those tents so for little objects its okay
