Stock <~~ good stuffThis is how it looks like in Black and White Shai BnW
Okay, sometimes I see other people do stuff like this and its not quite good and also sometimes I see retouches that are incredible. If you think this is good enough, I would like to do a tutorial on this. Most tutorials I've seen cover only a certain aspect, either eyes, face, skin, tones, but rarely everything. Ive seen about 8 that cover everything but go into tools and paths that arent really needed.
Just so you get an idea of the steps I went through to make this im going to list these things I will probably show in a Photo Retouch Tutorial.
Skin cleaning...
Skin Softning...
Skin Sharperning...
Skin Shadowing...
Eyes... changing color which im sure everyone knows, but getting that... nicer look
using tools like smudging, healing, dodge, burn, and using masks in photoretouch
Lips... probably the easiest part
This was done in Photoshop CS 2 and it took only a couple of minutes.

i love love love the eyes ... the lips seem a bit... haphazardly layerd to me though ... its actually my problem on a piece im working on now, selecting the lip area so it doesnt look touched up. but im nitpicky so that might just be me ....
a tutorial would be great would like to know when that comes out.

it looks great but in my personal opinion the only thing its lacking is what i did a search on and found you lol
thats skin TEXTURE!!
like the mag pix, where they dont look porcelain or plastic, because they add the layer of skin texture to it.
everything else is perfect though!

the eyes. lips and hair are very nice, but the skin looks too plastic... I think you have overdone it on this part, I f you use an extra layer to make the skin smooth, than set the opacity of this layer to about 80% to let the original skin texture shine through a little bit, it also does not hurt if you put some noise in the skin... this will all make it a bit more natural.. great joob on the eyes though!

hmm, nice technique but not practical.
she looks plastic and unreal, espcially with what you did to the eyes.

The eyes are nice but the skin is completely overdone. An image like this would never "make it" in a magazine or photo package because it's too plastic. Try setting your skin layer to a lower opacity or a blending mode like soft light. Better luck next time.

wow
this is really awesome. the color version is much more vibrant and captivating... especially her eyes. but the b/w has a very different feel to it... more distant, and cold [slightly more emphasized by its slight decrease in size]
realli awesome work

I think you do an eccellent job with those manipulations, but I must say that the result is a totally unnatural face... But I don't know anything about photo-retouching, and maybe it's not even supposed to look natural...
