So I told myself the other day, "Hey, I'm gonna watch the Roswell pilot, just for fun. That's it." RIGHT. Of course, I'm now in the middle of a full-blown rewatch. I'm only about 6 episodes into Season 1, but just like all my rewatches, I'm totally back into the fandom. Like, I'm listening to my sisters old CD compilations of the music used on Roswell (pre-DVDs, unfortunately ).

I've determined that Max/Liz are my OTP. Not just of Roswell - of ALL ships. I'm not 100% sure why this is. It's not that I don't care about Chuck/Sarah (Chuck) or Sawyer/Juliet (Lost).

There's just something about Max/Liz & the show itself. If anything convinced me that love was real and true, it was Roswell. No matter what happened, no matter what kept them apart, I never doubted that Max/Liz loved each other and were meant to be together, regardless of who said that wasn't the case. And they never doubted it either.

And I'll stop being a sap now

Max: Whether I die tomorrow or fifty years from now, my destiny is the same: it's you. I want to be with you, Liz. I love you.

Liz: You're the love of my life. Everyone else is gonna be second best. There'll never be another you.

Liz: This can never be normal, Max.
