Was that not a blast when you watched a classic adventure movie as a kid ^^

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but got into it later in life than I think most people do.Β Someone lent the trilogy to me on VHS, pre SE, but I didn't watch them all because I didn't know what order to watch them in.Β I like to think if my dad was alive he would have given me a proper introduction sooner.Β Β

This was me too as a child... My dad showed me the value of life
I remember right before he showed me my first Star Wars episode he said "When you study WWII, this will become ten times more interesting."

True story. I would "geek out" on any movie that had my attention: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Back to The Future, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Aliens, Terminator 2, Twister (that was a biggie--since I am an amateur storm chaser and hurricane hunter), Ghostbusters, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Titanic, Midway, andΒ Independence Day. (Add: Deep Impact,Β Armageddon.)

At your defense I was probably not really better myself. XD Plus, probably stay too much in front of screens ( computer, tv, other ).
