Just one small tiny thing. Being that Nate is in the line of work he's in, I would think he's heard of Pandora's Box. Granted, he may not know everything about it, just as he thought El Dorado was a city and not a statue and that Marlowe and Talbot were after the water of the Atlantis of the Sands instead of what was in it. He might not know it's from Africa or how exactly it originated or why, but I would think he'd know what is held inside the box. Treasure hunting involves knowing a bit of myth and lore, and Pandora's Box would be right near the top with El Dorado.

As a side note, your capture of the characters was very believable. Especially all Sully's god damns.

I put the blame on his lack of knowledge of Pandora's Box on the fact he's been less than active in the "life" lately. Like in the video games, how Elena shows distaste for Nate's lifestyle because she fears for his safety - it's different because in this, he's considering settling down and Elena doesn't want him to give up something he loves to be with her. So he's been busy looking for an apartment rather than treasure in mystical parts of the world. Either way he's going about it all wrong since Elena obviously loves to travel and help others, he's just trying to keep her around.

Oh God, headcanons.

But thank you! I was very worried that I'd get the characters wrong or something or use too many "goddamns" and ruin Sully's perfect ratio.
