but my text choices are so bad ">< i usually pick blocky ones though, because they're easier to fit and place than curly ones
lighting is really just black layer erased with soft brush around the lighted areas + a bit of linear dodge

don't worry, i'm bad at it as well
does colour dodge black work? i usually use a normal layer with the opacity turned down
