It also made me glad when I saw you had featured that Betty Thatcher's beautifully melancholic text and mentioned Renaissance as a performer. Usually I'm seeing it under Blackmore's Night's name. Not a bad version that either, but nothing beats Annie Haslam's voice.

I agree. But Turn Of The Cards is the album I'm listening the most, not Scheherazade. Maybe because it was the first one I bought when it was newly released. I like Candice Night's voice too.

You are right about that my friend. I love getting lost in a piece when the stresses of the day are finally over and I can spend a quiet moment. I get little enough of that these days but I still enjoy it every chance I get.
