Whoa, the background looks like a giant creature - most likely a dragon - watching the Earth. I think it's really cool

Great artwork! That fractals in the backgroud reminds me a Flying Spaghetti Monster. No offense.

Thank you very much. Pastafarianism would be a perfect choice if I ever turn to be religious.

When I was a kid, I had a fever quite often and when I did I usually saw dreams much like this.

I actually see swirling patterns like this often if I close my eyes. usually in multi-colors and I used to see them all the time when I was little and closed my eyes while listening to music. I didn't see planets in them though.

For me there's no precise line between sleeping and being awake. I'm drifting freely between those two states all the time. I can completely lose my sense of place and time for hours without falling asleep. It's weird, I know.

sounds perfectly normal to me. I bet you have out of body experiences all the time.

This body is only a tool for making art, communicating with other people and for managing things which are necessary for staying alive. I would gladly abandon it for good at any time.

i see what you mean. You must be a confined star person. I've been in the flesh for eons now without much of a break so the desire to abandon what i'm doing here is significantly less. You must have incarnated for a reason though. We're living in interesting times - it might not seem like it but humans are on the cusp of an evolution. check out google on "crystal children"

Mankind has been living on the edge for a thousand years and it'll take at least another thousand years before anything significant happens. Every generation has said "we are living strange times, this can't go on like this, something must happen soon", but nothing has actually changed so much. World is changing, our habits and values are changing, but the essence of a human being remains the same.

ah, but as society goes on as usual, the psyche of the masses is changing. Ever since the 1960s the world has become more global, more in tune with its far corners. The internet is helping information become more powerful than politics. Also during this time religious observation has declined and interest in the metaphysical has increased. The very nature of the mind is changing, each generation has more people being born that can breach the line between the conscious and the subconscious. You're right to be cynical as there has been no revelation as predicted over and over again. Something really is happening now. it might not be a sweeping wave yet, but the undercurrents are there.

It's not only about me being cynical. We would like to see some fundamental changes during our own lifetime. That's natural of course. We want to be here when something important happens, but the major changes don't come suddenly. Once again the human nature is the reason. We would rather keep our lives as they are than jump into something we don't know yet. Familiar misery seems to be better than unknown roads out of it. The majority wants to keep their lives as they are. They are not ready to risk anything.
We do have more knowledge nowadays and it's not so easy to manipulate individuals any more, but the knowledge is useless or even destructive without wisdom and wisdom comes from experience, which can be gained only by making or seeing mistakes. That's how evolution works. It makes mistakes till it finds a working concept. That takes time. More than we are able to realise.
The best we can do is to live our lives like they were the only lives we got.

Your description makes evolution sound like a rational choice, though. It seems to me that for a creature to evolve the offspring have to be fundamentally different in some way. It's my observation that a large portion of human offspring are becoming fundamentally different. The wiring in the brain is differentiating.
As for me i'm incapable of living this life as the only one I have because I have past life memories. I might have future life memories, but I'm more fuzzy on those.
What's interesting to me, is that while we seem to differ in our perspective of where man is at, I feel like I can instantly relate to so many of your deviations, some imagery that seems embedded in my system.

Evolution is a consistent chain of random experiments. The ways it works are always analogical. That's why the results are quite the same in different contexts. Structure is always a fractal.
