Thank you very much. It's an honour to get my art included to such an excellent collection. I thought those older works in my gallery were completely forgotten.

This is an experiment with reflections and movement. I am satisfied how it came out.

Your comment makes me more confident when using the things I learned by making this picture.

Thanks a lot, my friend.

There's like, so much pressure in this picure!! A pressure that is equivalent to the weight of the fireball I think. Quite massive.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lemmy-X In reply to Ingo89 [2008-09-25 09:03:41 +0000 UTC]

Or maybe the weight of the world, which tried to crush me, while I was working on this picture.

Ingo89 [2008-09-25 03:07:02 +0000 UTC]

The great destructive force unleached upon the fine building stimulates alot of feelings... wow that fireball is intimidating.

I had a dream once that a huge fireball struck down in my village, after the strike everything was gone and I was at some bar on some tropical island, hehe :S

That kind of dreams make me feel so small and helpless.

You and many of my other friends have told that so many times, I got to believe it's true. It just feels a little strange to see my art there as one of those pictures.
And you must accept the truth, you've been my best supporter since we met here in DA. You just can't stop me showing my gratitude when ever I get a chance.

Thank you for being you, my dear friend.

By the way. I'm back home from now on.
AND A NEW KITTEN TO MY CAT-FAMILY ARRIVES TOMORROW!!!

Well maybe now you WILL believe it my friend and not question it or doubt it again or im going to have to kick your arse again lol.

Really glad to hear youre back at home now for good. Your stays in the hospital I hope has helped you to put some of your demons far far away now and that you can move on and embrace what you have and enjoy each and everyday as it comes.

Anddddddddddddddddd oh boy another ...Im happy for you Lemmy....another baby to watch and smile as it gets up to mischief.

Lemmy-X In reply to SilEnigmaArts [2008-09-20 11:14:54 +0000 UTC]

It was a good break from a common life. Things can be seen so differently when you are not living among them. I feel myself much more stable now and the future really does exist in my thoughts.

I CAN'T WAIT TILL TOMORROW!!!
I love to watch all those (very important) things a cute, innocent and wayward kitten founds necessary to do.

Big hugsss ...Im so happy that you are feeling so much better within yourself Lemmy. Youve had a long hard journey and yet here you are....a few more scars and those scars will hopefully remind you next time you are feeling low, that those scars are from the past. They are not the future and now you can move on happier and more peaceful

Hey...Im jealous of you having a new baby kitten to watch, enjoy, care for and love ....better send some photos when you get it or Im going to have to bop you !!

NOTHING can keep me from posting photos of Tii. I don't even know the gender of the kitten, but ~Raikko named him/her Tii, age about two months and the colour is gray. That's all I need to know. Tii's adorable anyway. Though I haven't seen her/him yet.

And so it destroys everything...

You really seem to like orange...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lemmy-X In reply to Kechake [2008-09-15 17:07:44 +0000 UTC]

In fact I don't like orange at all. Only with red and black some darker shades of orange look good to me. Sometimes I hate the colours I have to use in my works. Doesn't make much sense, but it's true. Some scenes select their own colours and I can't help it. Just got to use them even if they make me feel sick.

Thank you for your , my friend.

Kechake In reply to Lemmy-X [2008-09-15 17:17:53 +0000 UTC]

Ouch. Evil colours!

They sometimes do the same to me. But then I attack - with gradients.

My main weapons against bright yellow and light green are magenta and blue. M&B-Team is invincible.

Wonderful creation Lemmy. I have looked at the original and youve created wonderful depth to this piece. The blending of the sea, reflections and sky are superb and a big WoW to your awesome fireball..the movement is great. You just keep getting better and better my friend...keep it up !!!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lemmy-X In reply to SilEnigmaArts [2008-09-15 10:50:37 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much, Karla! I'm satisfied how it came out.
(especially the meteor, two layers for a tail, two for a fireball, two with painted gradients the shine made by overdriving the colours)
The reflections I managed to make with three different layers (sea-sky-sea) and by smudging, blurring, healing, burning and dodging like I told you before.
I like the results. It means the technique is useful and I'll keep on developing it for my works.

AND getting better and better is the main reason to try something new all the time.

AANDD!! THANK YOU FOR THE !!!

Your friend
Mr. D.
