Bots from Microplex, Exbar .Xipho (female) transforms into a horseshoe crab-like submarine.
Limelight (male) transforms into a photon tank.
Thinktank (male). His head is based on G1 Highbrow's alternate head .
Brainstorm (male). His head is based on G1 Brainstorm's alternate head .
Fireball (male). Based on preproduction Skyfall .
Brainwave (female). Head based on a Sentinel from X-Men.
Rig (female). Some sort of soviet-ish tractor.
Trike (female). A trike.

Well, right now, there are two versions: one in the G1 continuity and one in the Animated continuity. These designs are for the inhabitants of the Animated version. The G1 version is the one where Thinktank is interacting with Shadow.
Microplex is a small, autonomous city on the organic planet Exbar. It has about 150 inhabitants. In the G1 continuity, its task is to carry out extensive research on organic life to improve Cybertronian life via biomimicry . It is in contact with Cybertron.
In the Animated continuity, Cybertron just recently lost contact with the city, prompting the Autobot Ministry of Science to send out the Quaternion to check out what happened...
