Description This should be pretty self explanatory. I'm sorry this whole thing is so ginormous, but I wanted you guys to actually be able to see what I'm doing.

This was done for a class, and I had to print it out. Hence the white background. But hey, that just means that you guys can print it out too!

I plan on finishing this guy someday, hopefully. We shall see.

I have one question. When layering, do you had sculpt to the sketch locations for the Primaries and Secondaries to give them a bit of detail?

Oh man I am so sorry for this late response! I hope it still helps anyways.

I added clay in layers to give the feathers some more dimension. Since the sculpt was being done for a school assignment, I didn't bother with too much detail, but you definitely could.

super, thanks! I wanted to know how to make wings without having to use wire mesh, and I knew tin foil was a way but I just couldn't thing of a way but to crinkle ot and push a lot together and I didn't know how to shape it - then I found this tut awesome, thanks!

Nice! And, I can see this being incredibly useful for many things, not just these types of sculptures (although, the body one is really helpful, too )
