Hearing a familiar British accent behind you, you turned around to face the man.

"Well, well, well. I suppose no introductions are needed this time around, (name)."

You smirked. "You do a rather good job of pretending to be a boring English teacher, Mr. Kirkland. Or would you rather me call you Arthur?"

Arthur sneered. "You don't deserve to call me by my name, you peasant. Much less so if all of your acquaintances are of such low-birth like the man standing right next to you."

You laughed in response to his taunt. "Wow, I suppose you really do have a good sense of humor after all. I thought that all of that was absorbed by your thick funny eyebrows."

Elizabeta snickered as she tried to suppress her laughs. Even Roderich, who was being carried on Ludwig's back looked amused at the thought. Ludwig himself covered his mouth, but from his shivering body, you could tell that he was trying to suppress his laughter too.

"You peasants leave my eyebrows alone!" Arthur blushed, his hands covering his eyebrows, almost in an attempt to make you take him seriously.

"Well, it's rather hard when you do things like trying to cover them up. But I suppose that they aren't that bad." You took out the loaded .44 Magnum handguns, pointing one at Arthur.

"Tell me, Mr. Kirkland. Where is my sister? What did you do to her?"

Arthur, sensing the killing intent emanating from you, shrugged both his shoulders in response.

"Now, now. Do you think I would simply tell you the location of one of our best? Now that's what I call humorous."

"Well, you might as well give up your rotten sense of humor, Arthur. Neither (name) or I have the patience to be waiting for an answer for an enemy."

The moment Elizabeta finished those words, she rushed at Arthur, her frypan closing up on Arthur's face within a few seconds. But Arthur smiled condescendingly as she swung at him.

"Well, you should learn more manners if you want to be a noble's wife, Elizabeta, not only just a sense of humor."

What you saw shocked you. Elizabeta was floating mid-air, both of her hands clutching and clawing at a ring of light that threatened to cut off her breath. Arthur was smirking, his outstretched hand slowly curling up, forming a fist.

"Eliza!" Roderich had wasted no time. He had already grasped his rifle and shot Arthur's hand. But that was not enough as the bullet had stopped mid-air, just as Elizabeta did.

"You... so the rumors were true." Ludwig had by now grasped his weapon, a revolver. "The Kirklands have always dappled in black magic. Assassinations that seemed impossible...sudden deaths within the family..."

"That's right, Beilschmidt. It was us. To be more specific, me... none other than Arthur Kirkland!"

Paying him no attention, you rushed forward and stabbed Arthur's arm. "Let Eliza go, you bastard!" Blood rushed out of Arthur's wound, and he doubled down in pain as Elizabeta was freed from his magic. Roderich was one step further; he had rushed out to catch Elizabeta, who coughed and wheezed, finally being able to breathe.

"You... YOU!!!" Arthur's normal green eyes were now a deep shade of red, a small but sure sign of insanity within him. Although you were used to battle, a sudden fear took over you as you felt his glare, unable to move from where you stood despite knowing that he was about to strike.

Arthur smirked and grasped the opening that you unintentionally showed, his piercing beam of light aimed straight at your heart. "I'll be taking your life for that INSULT!!" Unable to move your arms to block the inevitable attack, you squeezed your eyes shut, bracing for the fatal blow. It's over...
