During their time at Hexside, River felt themselves often thrown for a loop. Today was no different as they and their classmates were paired with Palismans on the perfectly titled day. While River had their reservations about even joining, they truly didn’t expect to be paired with a dragonfly. Ironic as it was for a dragon River didn’t consider themselves that superstitious but being paired with a dragonfly they couldn’t help but wonder if this was fate. Especially when the little bug keeps wandering away towards the boiling waters.

I'm super excited for tomorrows episode XD When the title first came out it got me thinking as to what kind of Palisman River and Coral would have. Including the twins because their my fav's~ (I was thinking about doing Amity, Gus and Willow but I think there going to get theirs tomorrow so I decided not to. If anyone is curious I head cannoned that Willow had a tulip (like in the promo) Gus a Chamelion and Amity either a cat or mouse). For Coral I've always seen her having a connection to koi fish and their tranquility, so she has a ghost koi named Cho.
Edric gets a bat named Nos who's a bit of a tsundere and keeps Ed in check, sometimes.
For Emira I chose a Viper because it fits her XD I was also inspired by an older design of the twins that had a snake tattoo (if I find it again I will link it, the others keep sending me to pintrest)
Now as the little plot said River gets a dragonfly as their actually a pretty big in native mythology and symbolism www.warpaths2peacepipes.com/na… , blog.sundancecatalog.com/2018/…
Which I thought would be a good match for them. Their dragonfly is reserved and a bit drifty, wondering off towards certain places.
