showed us that you can work very well with Sharkies' anatomy!
2nd place - earns 5 Star Pearls: iCHRiLLU

The painterly style makes them look so soft
and hugable!

What's a DTA?

DTA means "draw to adopt". You make artwork of any kind of this adoptable and might win it! It's like a drawing contest, the price is the adopt!

How to enter:

Reply to the comment "Enter by replying here:"
saying you want to participate + include link to your journal/poll!

You have to make a poll/journal to advertise for this event!
You can tag some friends but that's optional

How to submit your Artwork:

1. Post it on DA
2. Add your entry to the folder called "August DTA" at the group Sharkie-Pond

But what's a Sharkie?

It's a species that has been created by me, Sila--Chan

Species: Sharkies [last updated 31.05.17]

This Sharkie's traits:

glass body + fluid - ultra rare
slime tongue - legendary
pointy dorsal fin - common
glass teeth - unlisted trait
sliced orange back fin - unlisted trait

What's an unlisted trait?

Any trait that's not portrayed on the trait sheet is an unlisted trait!
E.g. whiskers, big devil's wings, extra limbs, special fin shapes, etc...
Unlisted traits can only be obtained by ordering a custom Sharkie or by
adopting/winning one.

What you can submit:

You can only submit two entries in total, you can choose the category.
One category can be chosen twice.

You can draw the Sharkie multiple times in one picture/make a collage of multiple photographs of your traditional art and crafts!

What you should not submit:

literature (poems, stories, texts)

My mods and I will choose the winner. We will rate your drawings by asking ourselves these questions:

How much time did the artist spend on this drawing?
Did they change the original design in any way?
What's the quality of the artwork? (Did the artist use the bucket tool and didn't fill out the white specks? Are the lines messy?)
Is the drawing complex? (Are there multiple characters? Complex angles? Objects? Is there interaction between the character and its surroundings?)

If 20 People enter this DTA Event, I'll add an animated icon (50x50) as a prize!
If 30 People enter this DTA Event, I'll add 1 000 Points as a prize!
