I had some time between studying so I drew this to unwind u3uvery tired rn but imma add some stuff
She's stuck on Squalls-End since Homeworld abandoned the planet and
works as a kindergartner. Trying her best to make use of the brittle earth
and working on new ways to create gems are her passion since she was
formerly a kindergartner for Yellow Diamond.
Her faith in YD never faded and she still hopes to be rescued one day and
go back to living on her home planet, together with her partner Angelite.

I’m thinking that she should’ve been a normal sapphire but came out with this special color combination which is why she used to be one of YDs favourite sapphires QwQ

As in, another mineral inbedded in the sapphire? That'd be really cool.
)At least she keeps colors of a sapphire, because i've seen green sapphire gem personas and that's just not how it works. There are blue, purple and pink/orange gems that are classified as sapphires and only the blue one as a real sapphire, leading to the others being named differently, like, padparatsha or purple sapphire, as in, not the original. It just bothers me since i know alot of gems and you can't just make some up so,,)

Hay what up, original creator here. The gem was called a "bicolour sapphire" and the reference I used for the gem was an actual yellow, blue and white sapphire. From what I understand these bicolour sapphires still count as sapphires, and im pretty sure padparadscha are also actual sapphire? The general consensus (at least by the majority of websites, gemologists, jewelers and sellers i've visited/seen comments by) is that red Corundum is called a ruby and everything else is called a sapphire.

Agreed. As long as they're not harming anyone. Sadly the comunity has a bit of a bad reputation due to the fact that a famous artist got bullied until she tried to commit suicide over her drawing rose a bit more skinny wich really is redicioulous, but in all seriousness, the comunity has gotten pretty chill (even though there still are THOSE people) and i gennerally enjoy seing art like this.

Aah I’m really bad at finding a sona that I stick with because I get unhappy with designs pretty quickly for whatever reason ;w;
But if I had to make a gemsona it’d either be an angel aura quartz, rose quartz or a lapis lazuli since those are my fav gems
And ye the community can be harsh but tbh a lot of communities are like this ;-;

I think it's mostly what platform you are looking on, for instance, if you'd go onto tumblr the comunity would be rather 'harsh' and bully-ish, youtube would mostly be little kids, so on and so forth.
Plus, those gems you picked are really nice! Even though a lapis and a quartz are rather different (a lapis terraforms, a quartz is a soldier)

I wanted to give her a partner but I haven’t thought of her design yet bcs I’m a lazy bean oOF (so she’ll be revealed sooner or later)
