I found this a little heart-stopping because you never really do closeups such as this. So it has a sort of intimacy to it, because I'm face to face with this person here.
I know you're crazy for critiques all of a sudden, so I'll try.
I don't know if you are going for realism. I don't really know what you're going for. But I would say the facial proportions are kind off of. Maybe the eyebrows are too high. Maybe the nostrils are too low, and the mouth? Maybe the chin is too narrowish. I'm saying maybe because I don't want to sound like I know for sure that I know what I'm talking about. I mean, some people have narrow faces and some don't. Some people draw their eyebrows really high. What is a person really supposed to look like anyway?
I think the narrow strip of black in the middle with the message, makes the person kind of seem to be communicating that message, without skipping a beat. It ties it together, kind of.

I don't really enjoy doing close-ups or portraits. They always seem very cartoonish and a bit of a joke. :/
I totally should have taken into consideration that the eyebrows were too high, she has that eye-shadow crap on. xD; Her eyebrows are supposed to be drawn-up, a sort of...exhasperated (spelled that one wrong LOL) expression. But I pulled them up too high. xD
Yes, I agree with you on the what-is-a-person-supposed-to-look-like-anyway, I don't really know. :/ it must be hard to critique on a portrait when nobody has a perfect face.
