Andy walked Rita to the courthouse in a very short amount of time. He had caught her while she had been near it, so luckily for her, she didn't have to drag herself through the hot sun for very long. After dropping her off, they bade each other farewell. She was sure she'd see him around again once her interview with Jury was over.

Walking into the courthouse, Rita tried to find her way around. It was a little dark inside, so only a faint amount of light was able to lead her around.
"Hello?" She called out, hoping for a reply.

"Yes." said a voice, far off into the building. "Just come down, room to your right."

She followed the directions of the voice, turning into the a room that was far more darker than the rest, only illuminated by a single Pokemon that had few radiant colors that caught Rita's interest almost immeadiatly.

"Are you Mr. Jury?" She asked, entering the room and placing herself before the judge.

"Yes we are." He entered, his face twisting and turning as he gazed at her. "And who might you be?"

"My name is Rita." She said happily, sitting up straight. "I come from Tao Village. I heard that Gambitville was in need of a few working paws and claws, and I happened to be interested in helping out with whatever I could!"

Jury gazed more, giving Rita a most puzzled look. His face began twisting and turning again, and started muttering to himself in a voice low enough that she could barely make out what he was saying.

"Tao Village you say? A lot of you have been coming by rather recently. It seems that you must enjoy lending said...paws and claws as needed yes?"
"Most certainly!" She said with a smile. "I'm interested in helping around around your town if you allow me. I heard from Andy that I needed to speak to you first?"

"Ah, yes Andy. Right then."

The spirit began mumbling to himself again, turning this way and that as he began to think to himself for a small bit. Rita only found this more interesting by the minute. What an interesting way to have an interview...

"So then, tell me a little about yourself then, Rita.  Do you find yourself to be an honest Pokemon?"

Honest? Well of course she was honest, she'd always been hadn't she? She nodded in agreement, the smile on her face growing
"Yup!" She answered gleefully.

The judge paused again, taking in the moment from Ritas short and quickly made reply.
"Honesty ensures that you are also law-abiding Miss Rita. So tell us, have you ever commited crimes at any time during your life? Wished harm upon another? Thought about committing crimes even?"

"Well of course I--..." She stopped for a moment, lowering her ears just a tad. Jury took notice of this, his colors growing brightly so. "That look tells us that one of these questions effect you...explain yourself."

Rita looked up at the judge, her ears seeming to lower a little more. "No." She stated. "I have never broken a law before. My parents raised me to abide by the law as much as possible. Growing up, I set out to be an explorer. I've made sure to help all those that needed it but...there was a time I...may have been a little um...ill-mannered toward a certain individual I used to work with. I didn't wish harm on him of course! Things just...got rocky between us."

She laughed nervously, her bushy tail slowly swaying back and forth nervously behind her. "That was all but two years ago, and right now I'm currently in a team as a rescuer."

Jury's face twisted upon listening to the Zorua's small explaination. He began muttering to himself once more, and it went on for maybe a good minute or so until he brought his attention back to Rita.

"We understand that Zorua are able to change their form at free will. Becuase of this fact, we have a hard time finding your words truthful. How do we know that you haven't used this ability to place blame on others for criminal acts?"

Rita froze at the statement. Suddenly she began to laugh, making the judge look at her curiously.
"If it's ever one thing I couldn't do, it's to actually use my ability right."

Jury's face continued to grow with curiosity.

"Want me to prove it to you~? Tell me to turn into a Pokemon, any kind of Pokemon~"

Jury paused once more, and once again mumbled to himself. Rita was beginning to think this was possibly normal for the guy. If he was the one and only law, of course he'd have to mumble and think to himself. It must have truly been a stressful job.

Jury looked up at Rita, nodding in agreement. "We would like to see you change into the species known as Lickitung."

Rita nodded and stood. A puff of purple fog erupted from the Zorua, and in no time, Rita took the form of a Lickitung.

However, she may have had it's form, but the Lickitung that stood before the judge was black and red with Rita's own puple eyes.
Rita gave an embarrassed chuckle, and then reverted back to her previous form.

"You see your honor, I have the ability to change my form, BUT I don't...exactly know how to change my colors. If I wanted to frame someone, I couldn't even if I tried."

The judge thought more, his face twisting and turning how he pondered. "Then how do we know you are being truthful about that as well? Your claim states you cannot change your colors to be able to frame another in the performance of a criminal act, but being able to change your form should mean you can change it however you wish."

Rita only laughed a little more. "I only have one Pokemon I like to transform into sir. I was brought up in an environment where most of my growing up was taken to having my nose stuck to books, and exploring the world beccame something I was interested during that time! I may have learned how to change my form along the way, but I myself was never exactly learned how to do it right myself. It's a wee bit of an imperfected ability."
Jury mumbled to himself after Rita finished. It seemed that he was starting to take Rita's words into account, for the light in the room seemed to dimmer, lowering his form upon the rock that held him.

"....Very well." He started. "We have thought long and hard about your claims, and taking you perspective into account, we have decided that you are indeed a law abiding and civilized Pokemon. However, know that should you be caught in the act of a criminal performance during your stay in Gambitville, you will be dealt with according to our ruling. Other than that, thank you for your time, and Welcome to our wonderful town of Gambitville. We thank you for the aid you will provide is. You may leave now Miss Rita."

She smiled and stood again, giving a small bow to Jury. "And thank you~" She said happily, turning around to make her leave.
"I promise to do the best that I possibly can to help out~!"
