For my mother's 6x6 art journal (which I contribute to more-or- less several times annually - I've gotten a wee bit slack of late).

I've illustrated her: chickens, frogs, a kakapo, a villa in Italy, split apple rock, Hawaiian birds, her deceased cat Cherub ... but I had not yet draw her lemurs.

So, here they are - her two favourite species - not neighbours by nature, but here they lounge together, showing off their distinctive red colouration. The one of the left is a red ruffed lemur and the one on the right is a Coquerel's sifaka. Maybe I should make them characters in my book?

Can you guess that my mother likes red? She would probably also like the red bellied lemur, but I suspect she does not yet realise it exists.
