I received Puffbird as my assignment in Avian Xchange. She was something of a challenge, I must say - not because she is a difficult character, but because she is so simple, it took me a while to figure out what I could do with her creatively.I hope I suceeded.

yeah it gets hard. You get used to drawing complex things and then when you get something simple to draw, you make it harder on yourself. Or at least that's what I usually end up doing. Do you do the same?

Well it wasn't so much that it was so simple it was hard - I wanted to do something more interesting then her just sorta standing there looking like a ball of fuzz. And trying to make the claws hold the palette was a challenge, I tell you!
