I'm sorry I can't think of a better comment. The only thought I have in my brain is, 'gah', and I assure you it is a good 'gah'!

This is beautiful. The lighing on their face is awsome, it's hard to get that right and you nailed it. How did you get the fishies to be transparent?

just gotta love the atmosphere of the pic. give me a feeling of Ima Ichiko's manga. Not that your artwork and hers share the same style but the feeling. <333

Oh, Neil Gaiman rules the world.
This drawing really evokes the feeling of sinking into a good book. The brownish colour scheme gives this a peaceful feeling...

I love him to death, he's so wonderful with words.
How did you do the fish? I like them and how they stick out and are smokey.

Neil Gaiman is an absolute literary god. My girlfriend and several other author-wannabe friends (sort of a lazy literary society) recommended him to me, and now I'm totally hooked. My first read was Good Omens, then American Gods, Anansi Boys (it cracks me up how many times I read "Anasazi Boys"), and most recently Neverwhere. I've also seen Mirrormask and the Neverwhere mini-series which Gaiman later novelized.
If you enjoy Gaiman and Pratchett, you may also enjoy Garth Nix (especially the Abhorsen trilogy - I'm reading that right now & wretchedly addicted to it), Philip Pullman (His Dark Materials), and Diana Wynne Jones (who wrote Howl's Moving Castle and its sequel, Castle in the Air).
Beautiful picture!

Beautiful as always and neil gaiman IS god XD
i wish to know what texture you put on your pics to give them that worn look, that makes it look traditional.
