Wonderful, Len.Β This is my favorite type of Mandelbulb3D fractal: the bulbs with very thin connecting "tubes".Β Thanks for sharing your parameters.

gorgeous art-thank you for explaining to another how to paste parameters and explore our own creativity in this new realm-it is helpful to know how to proceed technically as well as to absorb the helpful communal vibe that seems to exist here-thanks

Always happy to share any knowledge I may have gained through the years of using MB3D

I don't know how to do these things I just love to look and watch and this is certainly quite beautiful! Β Space Age and something that could be used in sci-fi movies etc. Β I also see a concept for some beautiful unique and bespoke jewellery here.......

sorry I am a newbie, what is the gibberish text, is it the parameters?, how do you import it?

Yes it's the Params. Highlight the text(including the Mandelbulb3Dv ) right click and copy, open MB3D and on the Open Tab click the button Open Parameters from Clipboard text. Open Navigator and insert params start exploring

That is really cool. I have got to know how did you make the spheres? I have been trying to make them for months and I keep getting messed up. What formulas did you use to do this?

All the information for the image is there in the Parameters which are posted with the image. All information from Formulas used to Lighting, gradient and Render settings are contained in the Parameters

This is one of my favorites. Not many go for the "painterly" look as you have done here. That's the direction I've been going with my stuff, and I'm inspired. Thanks.

Impressive. But this is not raw, is it? I believe you export the 3d objects from mandelbulb and manipulat them in photoshop? Cheers!

All pure Raw MB3D, I don't have the seperate apps to make .Obj files from the Voxel stack output, MB3D has no Mesh output....all you have to do is load the params to see it's all right there

Can I ask you if it is rendered on the intern renderer or on MC ?

Len1 In reply to sethlebatard [2014-06-26 00:02:44 +0000 UTC]
Internal Raytracer, the Monte Carlo is just too slow it drives me crazy waiting even though the quality in most cases can be superior
