they help me a lot.  i just learned how to paste them in the program to clipboard...fractalrock helped with that task....  i am ready to learn a different feature.  coloring...haven't figured that one out yet.  i'm not quick when it comes to fractals.  i'm in love with them.  i use paint brushes and canvas.  computer art is more interesting. not as messy.

Been messin with J-Wildfire lately, used to use Apo a lot and love Flame Fractals just never been to adept with them, haven't posted many Flames here but have quite a few at Rendo. I started with Fractal Explorer 7- 8 years ago as distraction therapy for Chemo/Radiation for Lung Cancer...beat the Cancer but Fractals stuck

Well I'm sure glad You beat the cancer!! And it is good that the fractals stuck.

Kinda hard to tell when it started, didn't know I had it till a Heart Attack put me in the Hospital and was told the attack was the least of my problems. Told it was inoperable and a little over a year off and on of Chemo and Rads and it wasn't working, I was told to get my affairs in order, quit the Chemo/Rads and went to visit my Kids for the last time and had a bad spell thought it was over, went to the VA in El Paso/Ft Bliss and they fixed me. They told me it was absolutely was Operable, they did a Double Double Lobectomy and a long recovery I was still kicking. I have the equivalent lung capacity of 1 Lung and was given 80% chance of 5 years, it's been 6 no sign of Lung Cancer returning, plenty of other things falling apart but hell I'm 64 the way I lived my life I'm surprised I made it to 50.

That's some story Len. I had a real rough life myself, no major disease, but I lived a hard one. Well Thank God you're still alive!

I'm a pretty tough old bird, 500,000 screaming NVA and Vietcong couldn't kill me when I was 19, a 15 year marrage and 2 Kids a Divorce coupled with 12 years Working the Seismic Exploration Trail across Africa, the Asias and Northern Canada before setteling down on a Stateside Job will toughen you up a bit. Like they say It's been a long strange trip but a trip worth taking and I ain't quite done yet, kind of enjoying being Retired and living out in the Desert only 50 miles from my kids and Civilization but far enough from the Race to be at peace.

Yeah I hear ya. Never had to do the Nam thing, I'm 3 yrs younger than you and my number never came up. However a lot of self abuse and 
two marriages, on my third now,. well that is some toughening too. Ha Ha.
