Hi!I've recently watched some episodes of Urusei Yatsura, starring this funny character Lum, created by Rumiko Takahashi. I'm not a big fan of other animes from this author (Ranma 1/2, Inu Yasha) but for my surprise this series is very cool and funny. I'll keep watching it.

Haven't seen these series yet, I've seen the character before -I'm not into anime that much, but I must say Ranma 1/2 influenced me in a way-, but I take your word, I'll look for it.
Btw, have you seen Yatterman? I really recommend that one, it's worth to watch it and I bet you'll do fan art of it someday

Any opinions on Maison Ikkoku or Mermaid Saga?
Actually like Ranma 1/2. InuYasha I liked at first, but the story never moved after a certain point. As for Urusei Yatsura, I've only seen or read a little bit. If I recall, it was WEIRD.

I've read some chapters of Maison Ikkoku and I didn't like it too much either. But I don't know Mermaid Saga.
Although I don't like Ranma and Inu Yasha, it doesn't mean that I think they're bad animes. They're techicaly very well done, both for animation and story. But they just didn't catch my interest as much as Urusei Yatsura did. And I agree with you, it's really weird. hehe!

Mermaid saga is a very obscure one. Its actually a horror manga. Apparently eating mermaid flesh grants immortality.

Já que eu fiz o Ataru, a Lum está na fila pode ter certeza. Só preciso voltar a minha atenção ao universo Rumiko Takahashi de novo.
Uma das coisas que eu mais gosto desta série e Ranma 1/2 é o fato de serem focadas ao lado cômico. Nada de poderes colossais, com inimigos malignos, que vc tem que salvar o mundo. Nestas 2 animações, os vilões são no máximo cômicos, espero que algum dia a autora volte a focar neste estilo.
