This is an illustration that I drew a few years ago for a novel project of a very good friend. He is an author and publisher. Unfortunately, the novel project (a scary novel series) was never realized.Related content

Diese Arbeiten kannte ich noch gar nicht. Ganz großes Kino. Vielleicht solltet Ihr dem Projekt eine zweite Chance geben. An den Illustrationen wird es nicht scheitern. Sehr gut - alle drei.

Vielen Dank für Dein großes Lob, ich fühle mich sehr geehrt. – Leider ist mein guter Kumpel mittlerweile eher Verleger als Autor, deshalb ist das Projekt zumindest in der ursprünglichen Form nicht nur auf Eis gelegt, sondern glattweg "gestorben". Aber wer weiß, vielleicht irgendwann einmal in anderer Form ... Jedenfalls freue ich mich, dass ich die Zeichnungen jetzt einmal publizieren konnte, und das sogar weltweit!

Welcome,my dear friend.I think your amazing art deserves more recognition and praises.They looks like some 1960s thriller fiction or pulp fiction,a genre I like a lot.The graphic has a very nostalgic feeling.

There are some shiny 1960s Edgar Wallace films! They were shot in black and white, were very atmospheric and nostalgic, although they were German productions. The location was always London. As a kid, I was very influenced by these films.
The location of the stories from my good friend should be the London of the 1980s. He likes "The Avangers" and "The Professionals" very much.

You're right: This is a pity! But I am glad that these masterpieces have made such a big impression on many people! That's why these old movies will never be forgotten. They will continue to be a great source of inspiration. Already for such great actors as Humphrey Bogard, Peter Lorre, E.G. Robinson, Lauren Bacall ... or from France Alain Delon, Belmondo, Jean Gabin and Lino Ventura. I love their acting very much.
