Just one dumb questions: Why not post a page a day for 41 days and keep people watching you, rather than post 41 pages all at once, then disappear again for days?

You're absolutely right!
I've done that with a recent Body Swap story I wrote on TgStoryTime, where I posted one chapter per day for 27 days, but it's another task, and I'm rather busy these days!
Then this story only took 12 hours from the idea to the publication, I didn't feel it would have been right to force people to wait for 41 days to reach the end of the story, but the strategy you mentioned is surely the best one!

That time includes the conception, the Photoshop part and the actual publication, but I have to say that now I use a better hardware (GPU GTX 1060, compared to previous CPU Quad Core) and the scene includes just the characters (no lights, no rooms): those stuff take a lot of time!
