I finally got around to draw a Gravity Falls Season 2 Fanart
I wanted to do one since the first epsiode of the second season aired I'Dand I have got to say I quite like it o3o
and I played a little bit too much around with brushes xD
If you havn't seen that epsiode yet, GO AND WATCH IT o3o and sorry for spoilering you I'D
I really like how "ghost-dipper" turned out ^^

I tried to get the focus more onto Bipper holding the dipperpuppet and Dipper himself trying to stop Bill and so I made the lower body of Bipper darker with shadow over it. Of course it can happen that it looks darker on different computers so it could be that it got a little bit too dark 
Yay, I didn't just want to draw Bipper and leave it like that, but I actually wanted to draw the struggle between these two and showing that Bill does have the upper hand and that Dipper right now can't do anything against it I am really looking forward to future epsiodes where Bill will amke another appareance

Yeaaahhh, I remember when Sock Opera and Into the Bunker were the edgiest in terms of disturbing content in Gravity Falls. That all changed when the Nightmare Realm attacked.

Has "Gravity Falls" gone too far this season? What with demonic possession, beheading zombies and an homage to John Carpenter's "The Thing" Walt must be rolling in his grave.

I don't quite think Walt is "rolling in his grave". These are different times now, so obviously there's going to be differences between what kids watched in the 20th century and today. And Disney has always has a little bit of darkness to go only with the happy, classic moments everyone knows. Look at The Haunted Mansion-The Hunchback of Notre Dame-how about The Black Cauldron, which had to be EDITED to not be too frightening for audiences. Even Walt's first several films of the "Golden Age" had its scary moments. Remember Snow White running through the spooky, dark forest? How about Pinocchio, with the Pleasure Island scenes and Monstro the whale? And what about Fantasia's "Rite of Spring" and "Night on Bald Mountain" sequences? What I'm trying to say here is that Disney has always had its dark moments, sad moments, and happy ones. It plays with the emotions if the audience-we feel joy when something joyful happens, we feel sad when tragedy strikes, and we even feel scared when the characters are threatened by the forces of evil.

i LOVED! this episode! sad to see the laptop destroyed, but i think it might be for a higher purpose. maybe it can be fixed again or maybe there was something inside like a secret or a note. and another thing: what is bill's plans? he said he needed Dipper out of it so it has to be big. like maybe.....apocalypses bad~? who knows. i thought it was a great episode.

maybe the laptop will play another part in the future episodes(may it be as a repaired or desroyed laptop or only as a mention), or maybe they will find a back-up laptop or something completly different. Who knews? Gravity Falls is full of Mysteries ;D
And there quite a few theories about apocalypses and bill's plan and the role each person in Gravity falls plays in it :3 it's really exciting to read and watch those ;3

same. there are alot of hints leading into that one, like the episode with the mind swap carpet where Stan picks up a pair of glasses and looks at them later, almost...thinking about someone.
