Dan POV

Dan looked at the scenery through the window and felt terrible.
He was still hunted be the image of the stranger boy who lay in the road in a puddle of his own blood.

Dan and his two best friends had all been in need for therapy, but it didn't help, the only thing that could help now was to make sure that the unknown boy would survive.
I'd been two weeks since they found him, and now he finally woke up, just to be forced back to sleep again.
The doctors left the boy, just when Dan was about to leave himself, the stranger looked at him.

Dan froze where he stood, those eyes of the stranger was so beautiful, an icy blue colour.
The boy closed his eyes, and fell back to his sleep, but Dan was unable to move, why did the boy have this affect on him? It was unnatural.

When he gained the feeling in his body again, he ran away from that room.
He ended up at the entrance where he let himself fall down on one of the couches in the big room, trying to catch his breath.

"Dan?" He looked up at the mention of his own name, to find his best friends standing before him, they were probably on their way to see the boy.
One of them was PJ on 16, soon 17, he had brown curls and pale green eyes, and beside him was Chris on 17, with deep brown eyes and dark brown hair, and Dan was the youngest of them.
He sent them a great smile, they were exactly the ones he needed to see right now, the three shared the same image of an unknown boy on a dark street.

"I knew it was him!" Chris said to PJ with a big smile before he looked at Dan again "he didn't believe me when I to... What's wrong?" Chris suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence and looked at Dan.
Chris and PJ sat down beside him, and waited for his answer, Dan loved them for that, they never pushed him to say anything, they would just sit around and wait till he was ready.

He took a deep breath.
"He woke up..." The both of them looked at Dan with a mix of a chock, joy and fear showing in their eyes.
PJ gained himself enough to ask the next question "... And then what?"
Dan felt terrible, he didn't want them to know about the strangers eyes, but he felt like telling them everything. He felt broken and just wanted to go to sleep, but he couldn't, he had to tell them.

"He panicked, and the doctors stunned him, it was terrible, at first he looked totally confused, but then he just started to scream... I couldn't do anything..." Dan hid his head in his hands when he started to cry in silence, this was too much for him. PJ sat beside him and let him cry out while Chris cried with him.

Later they checked on the unknown boy, who was now asleep again, before they headed home. Luckily it was a Saturday, so they didn't have school the day after.

When he finnaly got home he tried really hard to get past his mother, but it was impossible, that woman knew EVERYTHING, literately everything.

"Hey honey!" she said smiling at him while preparing the dinner "did anything happen today?" she looked at him with a worried smile, why was she so well at reading people?
Dan didn't know if he should tell his mom or don't. In the end he decided to tell her, she would find out no matter what, she worked as a nurse, and she was attached to the boy as his private nurse.

"He woke up" Dan said and looked at the floor, "and then he panicked, started to scream and cry."
"Oh" his mom didn't have anything to respond with so she just focused at the cooking.
Dan used the chance to escape the kitchen and hurried into his own room, where he crashed at the bed.
