This looks far more like a goth take on the Smug Wendy's meme than a Wednesday interpretation.
Why does she look disgusted? Wednesday always had the solemn, emotionless stare. For example:

Ummm thank you? I think.... You are however referring to the Christina Ricci version. In the original black and white show, Wednesday was much younger and more child like. In the 90's cartoon she was also way more expressive than just that one "emotionless" stare. So... I believe interpretation is the right words for this piece. I was going for a teenage goth angst rebellious stage.
