This picture, in my opinion, just got even more epic if I'm thinking what I think this is. And what I'm thinking about thinking about what this is in this picture is that I'm thinking that this guy has a keyblade and the other thingy is a Heartless of that guy wielding a keyblade while I'm thinking this.

It is an interesting note, and I can definitely see where you get the Heartless/Key-Wielder concept, but sadly, that is not the case. I will admit though that the early designs of the shadow form do look a lot like a Heartless form. You see these two are two characters for a OC comic, that I am currently trying to make.
Sorry to disappoint you.
But I have been wanting to do some Kingdom Hearts drawings recently. (Can't stop playing KH: Birth by Sleep. Too good!) So you might see something like that in my next upload. If you want, feel free to stop by and check in now and again. You might be pleasantly surprised. (And if you don't see it soon, just message me and remind me. No matter, your drawings are superb and this drawing is fantastically awesome. I will check up quite a bit to see your drawings as I am interested in your artwork.
I am actually excited knowing you will be drawing Kingdom Hearts material. It excites me even more because the way you draw is pretty similar to KH artwork, so it would be no problem for you to draw KH material.
So... Don't mind me asking... who are these two then? If it infringes on a spoiler of your OC comic, then you don't have to answer.

Well, the one on the left is Leonardo, one of my oldest OC's and the current subject for my comic. What I can tell you right now is that he is a bounty hunter of sorts, but the prey he hunts down is more dangerous and powerful than just normal outlaws and criminals. These are also marks that most people wouldn't even know (or believe) they exist.
Most of the details will be seen in the first chapter of the comic, and as for the dark one on the right, well... his story is very closely connected to Leon's but will remain a secret until the story reveals him.
Sorry I can't tell you more than that, but I have to give people something to look forward to.

Well, that is one of the things I am trying to finish. I am aiming for an end of summer release of the full first issue, but I am still just trying to get in the habit of getting the pages done, but I am trying my best. It will be a little tight on the deadline. But I think I can make it.
Still, I am doing a post at the end of the month that should be good too.

this pic has given me inspiration for a Race of creatures i been developing.
the Al-Kine a race of 3/4 humans. they are roughly 4-4.5 feet tall. instead of hair they have quils growing. facial structure usually consists of some form of bone "defect" or in other words think of Klingnon from Star Trek. the malformed brows etc. but it only effects one side. the left or righ but only 1 side. they are humanoid and they defects come from the demon blood in their veins. they could be considered a "corrupt" race but they are their own. they have enlarged forarms. they are Al-kine (Quil Demons) they are quite interesting. very tribal. they hunt in packs and go for the larger animals. if it doesnt benefit the tribe they wont consider it. there are very few loners.
BUT, the part you inspired me with is the transformation they can willing swith in and out kinda like a werewolf. their demonic form. they literally will look like the black dude. however difference. dark skin with fine black hair. the quils are kept. it kinda knockoff but your drawing catches what i want them to look like. however this form is not used very often. its for defending the tribe or attacking enemies wandering into the tribes grounds. very strong. its ben awhile since i did anything with them. i was at a stop on development cus i was out of ideas.ill try and get a drawing up with a full fledged info and such. i suck at drawing but hopfully i can get them on my DA

Your descriptions are very precise. I look forward to seeing them on paper. Are you going to do comparison shots of them in their normal forms vs. their demon forms? Comparisons of the young and elderly would be pretty cool too. Will you be showing their traditional ware and weapons? Maybe even the type of housing they take? What about customs, traditions, or ceremonies? That would make for great details!

I wish i had the time to do it. the traditional weapon is a single edged shortsword hooked at the tip i named it a Snag Sword. since they hunt in packs they bring down large animals. the snag sword is so they can littlerally climb the creature to get a kill shot. if you ever seen Frank Herbert's Dune and Children of Dune the hook things they use for riding Worms is the idea behind these swords. im gonna try and get something up. my drawing is not very good.if you want a general idea. think Native Americans and they use Long houses made from Wood if they are not the nomadic tribes. the Nomads have long houses but are made from wooden poles for structure and sewn together Hides for walls. usually only 1 room.

The shadow markings are pretty hard to draw, but well worth the look he gets from them.
Yeah, Leo isn't looking so great in this one.

You are basically right, and yes that did give it away, but the real trip is how that becomes true. This I must keep secret, however, until I finish the comic pages of his story.

dunno, i'm sure we could collaborate and think of something.
something fantasy...esque? i like the idea of a fantasy graphic novel. i have a bunch of ideas...but none of them are really on paper.
i wanted to do a steam punk inspired feel to it all, with an abstract-organic world in which the story takes place.
i have a small bestiary drawn up, and a couple characters thought up. some town ideas, and i'm going to start drawing up some air ships.
i just gotta do some research first.
i'm gonna start working on posting some sketches soon, but a lot of them are rough. -shrug- oh well.
even if you don't like the idea of working together (say... our styles don't end up meshing together) i'm sure you'd give me great criticism and advise along the way

Sounds like a pretty interesting project so far. I will just have to see and hear a bit more about it before I decide if I am the right guy for you to work on it with.
And you're right, even if I don't end up joining the project, I can at the very least provide an outside opinion on the matter. But sounds good. If I like you stuff, I might bring out some of my story ideas that have been on the back-burner for a while, and see if we can combine any of the ideas or concept.
