Note: This story is my idea about Shadow.exe.

In the image, Shadow is confronting Shadow.exe, which is an entity that attacks its victims and holds them to the wall by chains, after which it neutralizes their souls and places them in their inhibiting rings (which form chains surrounded by the body of Shadow.exe). Each chain ring is a soul that it sealed, which Shadow.exe uses to strengthen it.
Silver tried to attack Shadow.exe, but failed, Shadow.exe, then attacked and stole all his energy, he did not kill him only left Silver weak and unconscious, Ray also tried to help him, but also failed.
All Shadow.exe victims on the wall had their souls neutralized, except Rouge, because when Shadow.exe attacked Rouge and Ray, Shadow appeared to help them.
Behind Ray, is Ashura, his wife Naomi and his son Jason, Ashura suffered an accident in Burning City Zone and eventually lost his memory (But that's another story), trying to save his wife and son, so in the photo he can not do anything.
Now everyone's hope depends on Shadow defeating Shadow.exe.
