Dude youve made my fucking day..
this is brilliant.. just epic..
this sword needs more credits.. i mean..
this is the ultimate sword i can think of..
sure there are a lot swords like the blade sword, the sword of conan, the masamune of masamune date, the masamune of sephiroth, the cloud sword from ff7, excalibur, soul edge, soul calibur..
BUT
there isnt a Sword that could take it with the legendary Sparda Sword..
now "paint" it with love for the details and ill marry you
XD

Thanks, but stall not exactly accurate.
Back in days of DMC1, I actually review the scene of acquiring the sword several time to memorize and figure it out on how the sword transforms.
As you may seen, the sword is made out of 3 piece; the gripable sword spine, lower blade of left piece, and upper blade of right piece.
There were 3 presented forms of weapon. The claymore originally and always, piercing spear for any stabbing move like Stinger or unamed Million-Stab, and a scythe for Round-Trips' special charge attack in the first game.
The funny thing is EA's Dante's Inferno also has a very simular main weapon as well but scythe mode as default. The game's combat game play is aimed as designing to be something new but might end up something like Sony's God of War due to some program mechanic staff are hired in the project.
Anyway, Happy New Year!

It's even more amazing that you recognize three different parts! Thanks for the background info on DMC and that Dante's Inferno (I've been wondering about that game myself). Happy new year.

You should try the game eventually but don't buy unless you like it as many people normally do.
Very well sticked to the original Inferno, but still some alternations like GoW to Greek mythology.
