it's sad, poverty of people of many regions is the main reason of this catastrophe, e.g. in afghanistan or india many of these animals are in a great danger.

Yes but the poverty is not the single reason,illiteracy is more important...somebody have to contribute to education for native people so they would be aware of the importance of these species for the world.

i didn't say poverty is the only reason, but the main one, i guess when people suffer from  hunger, they wouldn't listen to animal lovers talking about saving animals at expense of their own lives, at this point the better solution would be stoping them from hunting animals, it is more expensive but at the same time more effective. i heart lately a reportage about unlimited hunting of snow leopards in afghanistan, how could we convince sucha poor people to stop destroying such a priceless treasures?! the same goes for people in many other regions on earth.
