You know, Forest always seemed like some kind of redneck or southerner. Something about him just gives me that vibe. I wish he more scenes in RE0 and REmake. Both him and Billy gives me that redneck vibe. Barry reminds of those mountain in rural areas, but not quite a redneck.
I think it's because I used to live in Bonanza, Oregon and Klamath Falls, Oregon when I was a kid and I remember a lot of Oregon rednecks who were neighbors or friends who looked a lot like Barry, Forest, Billy, and some of the other members of STARS. Maybe that's why I kinda prefer RE1 over REmake, it feels more like the characters could be based of real people as opposed being obviously video game characters.
Even Chris and Wesker who still looks like they could found at an air force base or something.

In the book, Forest was, actually, a southern. In the book it says, "Even excited, Forest's Alabama twang slowed his words to a stereotypical drawl." And it REALLY made me mad when he died DX He didn't even get to say ANYTHING!

Oh my god, really? Dude, that is so awesome. I think that just made Forest even more attractive than before (I like the tall guy characters with sharp looks and long dark hair, like Forest, Billy, Tseng from FFVII, Agito from Guyver, Darcia from Wolf's Rain, etc).
That was sad about Forest dying, I wish he'd get more scenes in Resident Evil game, I'd like to learn more about him or play as him.
Barry was the first Resident Evil character that actually intrigued me besides Leon (that's cause he was always cute though, with his 90's hair cut and good looks, how awesome would that be to encounter a real cop like that in life?). Barry just made me get a little nostalgic of when I used to live in Oregon and my relatives and parents would talk to neighbors that Barry reminded me of. I don't know, even to this day, he just reminds me of the type of man that's more old school and prefers to live in the outdoors in a log cabin near the mountains or something and involved in outdoor activities.
Weird how a video game character can invoke that sense of nostalgia a place and environment I used to live at.
By the way,I still think Barry looks better with a beard, it makes him look more like a mountain man than without the beard (he still looks good, but... I like the beard).

Haha, video game characters make me feel the same way, man! I've actually learned everything I know, like fighting and stuff, from video game characters. I won't say I'm as GOOD as they are, but I'm learning

That's awesome! That reminds me, you can find plenty of crazy mods and cheats on the Resident Evil series, mainly Resident Evil 1, 4, and 5 ( don't see much on RE2).
